New wrappers released for WikiRate’s REST API in Java and Ruby

New API wrappers are now available in Java and Ruby thanks to NLnet’s support and an updated version of the Python wrapper released in 2021.

WikiRate’s REST API allows users to interact with its data by offering easy access to endpoints such as companies, sources, datasets, metrics questions, and answers.

All three wrappers are open-source and available on GitHub, where anyone can contribute, give feedback, and request changes.

Each wrapper has detailed documentation, and all necessary links to additional resources are provided in the README file on each repository, along with details on how you can contribute and give feedback:

WikiRate API wrappers are ideal for large-scale corporate transparency and accountability projects

The Java, Python, and Ruby wrappers are ideal for developers and researchers working on large-scale corporate transparency and accountability projects.

The wrappers support many of WikiRate’s Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) actions on its resources. These provide the perfect basis for performing complex analytical tasks using WikiRate’s open data.
